Georgia and her husband Blake have been involved with the decorative painting industry for many years.  Georgia painted her first piece in 1994, and it can still be found proudly displayed in her studio.  Georgia and Blake opened a craft store back in 1995, catering to the decorative painting market.   After the birth of their two children, they shifted focus from the store to a home studio.  This shift gave Georgia the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom, allowing her simultaneously to focus on her family and to grow and to develop as an artist and to cultivate her passion for teaching.

In 2004, Georgia met David Jansen at a Canadian convention and learned about the Heritage Education Program. She has been a passionate supporter of the Heritage Art educational system ever since.

Currently, Georgia is a Heritage Ambassador and is honored to be involved with the Heritage team. The year 2010 promises to be exciting, as Georgia and Blake continue to represent the new line of Global Art Supply Heritage Multimedia paint as the Canadian distributor, and they look forward to the opportunity to continue to help grow the Canadian market and to serve its needs.   For Georgia and all of the others involved in this endeavor, the future is full of promise and creative possibilities.
